Due to very limited resources available for operations, we are currently unable to pay the volunteers. However, we do offer other benefits that contributors and volunteers might be interested in.

Open Positions:

Curriculum Designer:

What will you do?

  • Research the curriculums and coursework of various universities, educational institutions, and open-source educational resources.
  • Compile a list of literature based on your research.
  • Suggest further readings and other engaging resources such as videos and activities to engage students in learning about the disciplines.
  • Create ways to track and self-assess students’ learning performance and test their knowledge periodically.

Writer:

What will you do?

  • Write blogs and articles based on information and data shared by other team members (researchers).
  • Conduct your own research and come up with ideas for educational blogs and articles.
  • Help the Social Media Team in creating posts and content.
  • Create PowerPoint Presentations for Meetings and Pitches.

Digital Artist:

What will you do?

  • Create unique 2-D illustrations based on inputs from the content creation team for blogs, articles, reels, videos, and presentations.
  • Conduct tutorials and sessions for students to teach them the basics of digital art.

Social Media Manager:

What will you do?

  • Create engaging content on all the social media platforms where we have a presence- Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  • Discuss with the digital artists on the required illustrations and help them create compelling art.
  • Stay updated with the following trends.
  • Stay creative with ways to educate students using social media content.

Opportunity Finder:

What will you do?

  • Conduct research using resources like social media platforms and search engines to find scholarships, grants, and other student-related opportunities.
  • Create summaries of the research with all important details, such as the deadline of the applications, requirements, etc.
  • Getting inspiration from other innovations on how Alekhni can create better opportunities for learners.

Community Moderator:

What will you do?

  • Moderation of the social media accounts and the Discord Server.
  • Make sure there is no hate speech or violation of the internal ethics.
  • help students and learners enrolled on the Readers’ Programme by being their one-stop guide.
  • Keep track of learners’ performance and communicate to the right person on the team to help the students.

Outreach Manager:

What will you do?

  • Contact other educational innovations to build collaborations and partnerships.
  • Stay updated with opportunities for grants and award submissions
  • Create presentations and pitches to communicate the project’s aims and goals during meetings.
  • Contact like-minded people and organizations to work together on specific short-term and long-term projects.
